Terms of Service

1. What SECPUSE is

SECPUSE is a personal expense tracking tool. It lets you record estimated earnings, expenses, budgets, and savings goals, optionally share a workspace with invited partners, and receive related notifications. It is an informational tool only — see section 6.

2. Your account

• You must provide a valid email address and verify it with the one-time code we send.
• You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Choose a strong, unique password.
• One person per account. You must be at least 16 years old.
• If you believe your account has been compromised, reset your password immediately and contact us.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• attempt to access other users' accounts or data, or probe, scan, or test the platform's security;
• use automated tools to scrape, flood, or overload the service;
• upload unlawful content or use the service for any unlawful purpose;
• resell or commercially exploit the service without our written consent.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, abuse other users, or threaten the integrity of the platform.

4. Partner workspaces

When you invite a partner, you authorize them to view — and if you grant edit access, modify — the financial entries in your workspace. You can change permissions or revoke access at any time, but we are not responsible for what an authorized partner does with information they saw while access was granted. Invite people you trust.

5. Your data

You own the data you enter. We process it as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export your expense data to CSV at any time and may request full deletion of your account.

6. Not financial advice

SECPUSE provides bookkeeping and visualization of figures you enter yourself. Nothing in the service constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Budgets, alerts, reminders, and reports are aids — not guarantees. Always verify important financial decisions with a qualified professional.

7. Service availability

We work to keep SECPUSE available and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Email deliverability (e.g. OTP codes or alerts landing in spam) depends partly on systems outside our control.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SECPUSE and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including missed bill payments, overdrafts, or financial losses — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. The service is free; our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months (which, for a free account, is zero).

9. Termination

You may stop using SECPUSE and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where practical. Sections 5–8 survive termination.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date above and announced in-app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
